The Champagne Charlie

This Aluminium case has been a passion project of mine for years. I have personally designed and worked with many talented individuals to hand make each case.

Each case is made in an original 1920's style using the same techniques, with some modern flourishes.

The attention to detail down to the copper rivets is the work of a very accomplished coach builder. Who understood my vision and what I was trying to achieve from the beginning.

I had to turn to a saddler who was used to working with thicker bits of leather, to finish off the handles, belts and tie downs. Her skilled expertise pointed me towards the more classical tanned leathers.

Inside this wonderful case I have fitted foam inserts to secure each bottle and glass.

Inside the case

I couldn't think of a more fitting champagne, none other than the exquisite Dom Pérignon, its intense flavours and contrasts have produced a multi dimensional vintage champagne which I thought complimented the hand made cases.

Each case comes with 6 bottles of Dom Pérignon and 12 elegant Waterford crystal champagne flutes.
